TatiaD.Granger

PhD, PCC

Optimistic. Energetic. Maximizer. Thoughtful. Listener.

Tatia is all of these, and her coaching reflects each in the most appropriate of ways.  For some, coaching is strictly a profession.  For Tatia, coaching is a calling, and the culmination of a career spent in spaces helping others recognize and leverage their strengths.  Coaching is the intersection where her skills and talents merge with her professional and educational experiences to support her belief that partnership, preparation and practice yield success. The Granger Leadership Practice, LLC is the manifestation of her commitment to co-create strategically and purposefully with others their best leadership success.

“Dr. Granger has been a source of wisdom, determination and calm all bundled into one package. She provided the key that allowed me to open the door to my own world and helped me to get out of my own way.”

— DAR, small liberal arts college

Tatia brings more than thirty years of leadership experience from higher education, non-profit talent development and management consulting organizations to her role as a leadership coach.

She continues to grow in the field through affiliations with Georgetown University’s Institute for Transformational Leadership (ITL) and The Center for Creative Leadership (CCL).   In addition to coaching, Dr. Granger is a full-time faculty member at the Raymond A. Mason School of Business at William & Mary. She focuses on courses in organizational behavior, management, leadership and teams. Dr. Granger also focuses on conflict coaching based on her learnings as University Ombuds for a decade.

Dr. Granger partners with individuals, groups and organizations to find and commit to paths of intentional leadership in environments where all can thrive.  She believes in her clients’ capacity for growth. She believes that practice transforms micro-steps into macro-change.  She believes that helping her clients visualize, verbalize, plan and act, launches positive and purposeful development for the individual as well as the organization. Tatia is committed to her growing portfolio of work in equity and inclusion; especially partnering with senior level leaders to practice strategies for themselves, as well as plant seeds for others, to leverage the value of diverse work teams.
