“Tatia has helped me build a strong foundation as a leader.”

I had served as a faculty member for over 15 years and was beginning a new academic leadership position. This transition was a leap for me and Tatia has helped in my new role as associate dean and supervising 5 professional staff. As a new leader, Tatia was able to provide concrete steps for me to think about as I first began, and then she was able to follow up and provide additional tools along the way. Additionally, Tatia provided a “counseling” experience by asking behavioral questions to help me see the mental obstacles that may be impacting me, especially as a Black woman in a white, male-dominated area. For example, she was able to identify a mental block that I had not considered, which would eventually have an impact on my performance as a leader. After I had time to process, I was able to develop some strategies that have helped me move beyond this mental block. Without her asking the right questions at the right time, I would not have recognized how this was stopping me from producing my best work. Tatia has helped me build a strong foundation as a leader in my first year in this new role.

“Studying ethics in coaching with Tatia was a uniquely personal experience.”

I found myself sharing things with her that I privately worried about (e.g., sharing information about clients with an organizational coaching program manager) but found it hard to articulate. We delved into all the possible ways in which ethics might be at risk, and explored conversations that could lead to both honoring the high ethical standards of coaching while also acknowledging that every situation can have its unique challenges. While we looked at ethics broadly--following the ICF guidelines--we took the time to focus most on the particular standards that came up most frequently for me. I highly recommend Tatia as a wise and thoughtful instructor in this area.

“Tatia enabled me to find myself, who I am as a leader and my voice.”

I am a VP of HR who works for a midlevel fortune 100 Financial Services business. Tatia Granger was my business coach for nine months. Tatia is a fantastic coach who allows you to bring your authentic self to each meeting; she provides excellent resources to help you discover yourself and how you are showing up at work and home. During this time, Tatia enabled me to find myself, who I am as a leader and my voice. I cannot say enough about the value and impact Tatia has had on me professionally and personally.
